about Kikala Diallo

(director/producer/writer)

Born August 7, 1980, Kikala Diallo has always wanted to tell visual stories. He attended the University of New Orleans in Film/Communications graduating in 2003. Along the way, he discovered he had a knack for writing and more specifically screenwriting. While Kikala was working as a film editor for a company in Baton Rouge, he got a chance to be a listed editor on the film Full Throttle, starring Christopher Lloyd, of back to the future fame. He worked closely with veteran director/ producer Oley Sassone, (Xena, Hercules) for the duration of the project. During this time Kikala got an advanced, real life, hands on course in filmmaking, working hand and hand with seasoned professionals. His employers purchased a literary property that they wanted translated to a screenplay. They read a previous work of Kikala’s and hired him for the job. This allowed him to add professional screenwriter to his list of credentials, joining professional editor and professional videographer.
